Isca rehearsals continue to be at Isca Academy, Earl Richards Road South, Exeter

(unless otherwise stated) leading up to concerts in Sidmouth or at Exeter Cathedral.

Exeter Cathedral concert on 10th May 2025

 

16th. March   Dvořák Stabat Mater - movements 1, 3, 5, 6 10 (full  orchestra)
23rd. March   Dvořák Stabat Mater - movements 2, 4, 7, 8, 9, (no lower brass required for this rehearsal) then after the break an early look at some extracts of Beethoven Symphony No 3 (which features in the June 21st. concert in Sidmouth).
30th.  March  NO REHEARSAL (Mothering Sunday)                                                          
 6th.   April     Czech Suite 2.30 p.m. then Stabat Mater from 3 p.m. (full orchestra)
13th.  April     NO REHEARSAL (Easter break)
20th.  April     NO REHEARSAL (Easter break)
27th.  April.    Stabat Mater with chorus
 4th.   May     Czech Suite 2.30 p.m. then Stabat Mater with chorus from 3 p.m.
Friday 9th. May Cathedral 7 p.m. start with soloists and chorus
Saturday 10th. May 2 p.m. start (finish by 4 p. m.)  Concert at 7.30 p.m.
Some separate choir rehearsals with Bob Millington will take place upstairs at Isca Academy in a very large room in the music department.

*** Also String rehearsal on Saturday 31st. May 2.30 - 5 p.m. (max) (at Broadclyst Victory Hall) with Joel Munday and Alfie Pugh re Glass Concerto.

 

Sidmouth Parish Church Friday 20th. June Glass concerto with soloist at 7.15 p.m.

Saturday Final dress rehearsal at 3.30 p.m.
